I can't believe we are on the last chapter of our Humphrey book!  It has been so much fun reading and sharing this book with all of the staff and students of Galbraith School!

Question of the Day-February 13

It has been such a busy day that I almost forgot to post the question for today!  I was distracted by all of the little 100 year-old people that have entered our school today.  Happy-happy-happy 100 day grade ones and twos!

Chapter 14
When Humphrey first learns that he will be spending the Thanksgiving break with Mrs. Brisbane, he thinks he will see a "House of Horrors".  The the end of the break, Humphrey was looking forward to coming back to her house at Christmas.  What made Humphrey change his mind?

Chapter 13
When someone lends a helping hand it means that they do something to help another person.  in this chapter, Humphrey says "...I'd lent a helping paw here and there."  What are some ways Humphrey helped the families he stayed with?

Only 4 chapters left!  I can't believe we are almost done this book!

Humphrey freaked out when he heard who was taking him home over the 4-day break.  Do you think Humphrey should be nervous?  What do you think will happen to Humphrey when he spends the weekend with Mrs. Brisbane?

Question of the Day-February10

We are down to the last 5 chapters in Humphrey!  It is so exciting!  I love how Humphrey has been helping all of the families that he has been visiting!  In Chapter 11 the Thomas's find themselves without television.  At first they wine and complain, but they find other things to do.  Do you think people watch too much TV?  What would you do instead of watching TV?
